⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Smartwatch for Kids – Safe, Reliable, and Feature-Packed!We’ve been using the Imoo Z7 Watch for a few months now, and I must say it’s one of the best smartwatches available for kids. The build quality is sturdy yet comfortable – perfect for active children. What I appreciate the most is the 4G video calling and real-time GPS tracking feature, which gives us peace of mind as parents. It helps us stay connected and ensures our child’s safety, especially when they are out for activities or school.The water-resistant design is a big plus, and the battery life is quite impressive for a device with so many features. The UI is child-friendly, and my son quickly got the hang of using the watch without much help.Also, the class mode is very thoughtful – it disables distractions during school hours, which is a brilliant touch. Overall, the Imoo Z7 strikes the perfect balance between fun for kids and control for parents.

Good product with its own technical glitches
I got this for my 10 yr old son and he has been using this for about a month.Pros:1. The App interface is good and allows the device to be configured remotely.2. The device can be configured to accept calls from specific number only while the rest of the calls are automatically blocked with notifications I the app.3. Voice calling: this feature has worked seamlessly 100% of the time till date without any glitch just like normal cell phone. The watch functions as a speaker phone when call is received with a privacy option I which volume is automatically reduced. Calls from the watch are also seamless and easy to make.4. Batter last for almost a day and half with moderate use.Cons:1. GPS location tracking: although the watch has a gps tracking feature which can be tracked from the app, the usability is not always smooth. 30% of the time the app is unable to locate the watch saying network in the area is not good, but voice calling feature works seamlessly. May be some issue with the Internet connectivity with the device server.2. Video calling: this feature is equally unreliable as the gps tracking feature, again may be some issue with the apps central server or connectivity. This is observed even when you make the call with watch right next to you in well connected area. This is a serious shortfall. Video call whenever gets connected has pretty good quality.Although I must mention my son went out of town couple of times and gps tracking feature worked seamlessly throughout the trip.This is at best a cellphone for you kid, to stay connected.Updated 16.12.2024:I have replaced Jio sim that was initially using with VI sim and all the cons mentioned above are no longer present with the VI sim. The GPS tracing feature and video calls all work 95% of the time with VI sim.

Totally avoidable
INR 15K plus on a smart watch will make us think twice. Even more so when it’s for your kid. Hence what you’d expect is extraordinary features and impeccable performance. Unfortunately this watch provides neither.Its needs a 4G plus sim, except for JIO, with data activated. So all functions are dependent on the mobile service providers connectivity level. So no tracking in basements and other low connectivity areas. Its a pain to figure out opening sim tray. This is a Chinese product, so manual is attrocious.Best part is the battery life. So it drains even when the phone is off. I had read this in multiple reviews but thought I could manage. Now it’s become a big issue. Every day I need to charge this whether I use it or not, thus reducing battery life. You simply can’t charge and keep it switched off to be used later, invariably battery will drain. Wonder why???Also it’s quiet bulky. Considering a Chinese product, thought this could have been a lot more lighter. There are tones of Chinese features which is useless for the real purpose of the watch, like chats, stickers, etc.I absolutely don’t recommend this device. Given it’s size and bulkiness, better get an adult smartwatch with location tracking for half the price and better features. Its a Waste of a lot of money…..

I bought these for my 12-year-old to track location and stay in contact. The first unit kept freezing randomly — completely unresponsive, even with 70–80% battery. Only connecting to the charger would bring it back to life.I returned it and ordered a brand new replacement — and guess what? Same issue. Random total freezes, requiring a charger to reboot.Now imagine this: your child is out, and the watch freezes.No GPS. No calls. No way for them to reach you.What’s the point then?These are marketed as a safety device for kids — but if it freezes silently and becomes unreachable, that defeats the whole purpose. Completely unacceptable. Do not recommend.

We purchased the Z1 watch to keep in touch with out 8 year old while she’s roaming the neighbourhood in the summer holidays. Quite a few of her friends have them. While the instructions could have been a little better it was easy enough to setup. We used a Three Pay As You Go SIM with no trouble. Being able to control when and what apps and watch functions work is great. The GPS isn’t like you will see in the movies but does the job. Location seems dependent on WiFi and mobile towers so can jump around a bit but does settle. Its worth noting the app does tell you what the accuracy is so you don’t freak out if suddenly your child looks like they are a mile away. We found it more then suitable for our needs. The phone works great so you can always just call to find out exactly where they are. I suspect the Z7 would be better if you want continuous high location accuracy. We did get a protective case but the watch is surprisingly well built so we expect it to last a while. Its chunky but not too big. Overall, very happy with the purchase.
