Why you should not consider this laptop!!
Here’s my review after using it for three days, let’s start with problems:1. a lot of applications still don’t support arm cpu’s, they are running via emulator. soo if you are a person you uses verity of applications then it might not perform well for you.2. there are a lot problem with updates( windows updates) a lot of them are unable to install properly3. there are memory leaks in this device. My exact model : ASUS Zenbook A14 OLED (2025),Qualcomm Snapdragon X.I have a attached a screenshot which is showing what i exactly mean. It can be solved by forcefully ending task of DWM ( desktop windows manager ). but remember you will have to perform this ritual every time to power on your device. I have reported this issue to Microsoft with all the details i can possibly provide but i didn’t got any proper response.4. considering that this laptop costs over 80k.rs, the performance is very average there are minor stutters and lags in the UI.5. if you are thinking of buying this laptop first make sure that the applications that you are going to use can run natively. or else you will regret it Big time.6. battery backup of this device is nowhere near 32hrs as they have clamed. it is lot higher that most of the devices but it’s not 32hrs not even near. mine got around 14hrs with brightness at half and power saving on.pros:1: The laptop weighs almost nothing, weight of my model is around 900gm and it is distributed soo well that its feels unreal.2: even tho the battery backup is no where near 32hrs it is still really good than most of the laptops. also it charges really fast.3: Display and keyboard are also a good highlight. display is color accurate and feels smooth. keyboard is silent with rubber like finish.4: if you are a student, it will do most of your tasks just fine (coding, video lectures, browsing, etc.) but don’t dont expect much, there are a lot of applications that it cannot run properly.5: it makes no noise what so ever. fans are not even on for the most of the part and it doesn’t heat. you can use it on your lap if you want.6: this device will be a good purchase for someone who travels a lot.final verdict : all things considered it is a good laptop as long as it can run what you want it to run(create a list of all the things you will use on this laptop then paste that list in chatgpt and check if arm processors can run it or not natively). else don’t even think about buying it! last thing, memory leak issues are very serious and should be fixed as soon as possible..

    Finally a cold laptop
Review after using it extensively for a week-I bought the base X version (not Elite) because I wanted to see if it’s worth it to switch to ARM on Windows. I already own a beastly desktop gaming PC and various other Windows Handhelds and laptops. All of the laptops and handhelds suffer from the age old issue of using windows. HEAT. Basically browsing for too long on a windows laptop/handheld causes heat to build up unless you have the fans cranked up to deafening level. This snapdragon X laptop, to my surprise, is super cool to the touch! Even after hours of browsing and gaming (more on that below, don’t get your hopes up) the bottom of the laptop is only very very minor warm to the touch. Compared to say Intel i5 laptops or AMD 8840U handhelds, this is pure ice slab! I always wondered about the day Windows would be useable on ARM hardware and I can finally say yes, it’s here!About app compatibility, almost all industry leading popular apps have native ARM version now. Even if you run an x64 app on it, it runs without indicating any possible delay for emulation. Although I can’t comment on “popular in Indian college/office” apps like Matlab, Tally or some age old niche research app or something. Now let’s talk about gaming. I haven’t run modern AAA games on this machine because I know it won’t be able to handle those. I am a 90’s kid and I enjoy old games like Quake (Remastered), Rune Classic, Clive Barker’s Undying etc. all of those run at native resolution @ 60fps and playing Rune Classic for more than an hour only eats up around 10% juice while laptop stays cold with fans in whisper mode. A dream gaming laptop for a retro gamer!Overall very happy with the laptop. Now let’s hope gaming handheld makers like GPD, Asus etc also bring ARM chips to their windows gaming handhelds.Laptop came with few scuff marks on the body. Found out in reddit that it’s probably due to the material used (ceraluminium). Could have asked for a replacement but didn’t bother because many batches have it (or will develop it in due time). There’s a reddit post about a guy who opened 4-5 sealed boxes and all of those had same type of marks. But it’s very negligible. I’m not saying it’s okay to ship a 85,000 INR laptop with marks on the body as a “brand new sealed unit”. But unless you look for a heavier laptop built with different material, it is what is.

    Bugs bugs
Lot of bugs in windows running on ARM. Not a pleasant experience after having paid so much. Laptop is definitely light and battery lasts a whole work day. But buggy

ARM chip with bad emulator – Most apps wont work
    – Poor build quality- Snapdragon X means 80% of the apps you need wont work- Hinge is too loose, screen wobbles. Its a lightweight brick.
