Your Personal (Beutiful) Beast
I have upgraded from apple watch series 8 to this one and have been using it for the past 7 days.Initial impressions over my series 8 -• This watch is much bigger than what it looks in the pictures. I am coming from a 41mm dial, so initially the size was quite impressive (intimidating if I may say)• The OLED display is great! No other way to put this but the brightness, readability, adaptive features etc. makes this screen the best for any smartwatch I have used. No problem at all under the direct sun, the screen size is enormous, and you will catch everything by just glancing, no need to stress• The watch is very light for the shape, size & build. You can easily wear it all day (and night to sleep) without feeling that you are actually wearing such a beast.• Build quality is as Apple as it can get. You have metal casing giving the watch a sturdy look. I have blue trail loop with Velcro closing with reflective paints. Cool!• Battery life is the main attraction of this beautiful beast. In the last 7 days I had to charge my watch only two times (I have worn the watch all the time except charging). It works with any apple watch charger and can charge from 10% to full in 2 hours. Battery doesn’t drain like my series 8 and you can easily have full 48 hours of back up with light workouts every day (I walk for 45 minutes daily, and am getting 2.5 days of back up)• Watch Ultra specific apps and faces elevate your experience. The new Waypoint face is too complicated for me, otherwise you have a lot of faces and features to fiddle around. The depth and water temperature features work seamlessly as soon as you dip your wrist to 0.1 m of water• It connects with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, satellite and 5G. The call quality is crisp and quite better than many budget-friendly phones’ speakers. 5G gives it additional speed and you will never have to buffer your music if you are not carrying your phone.• Emergency siren – it really is very loud. I hope to not use it ever in real life but I have read a few instances of people getting saved by this• Feature list is exhaustive, and I do not want to paste them here. A little research will tell everyone what they are getting with the watchThe only negatives that I can think of are –• Being an Apple, it will only connect to an iPhone :D• You can not play music from any app other than Apple music if your watch is not connected to your phone and Apple music is @ ₹99 pmAs said by apple this is really a beautiful personal beast. You get loads of workout features, customizable options, emergency fallback and what not. Yes, @ ₹90k it is pricier than any smart watch but the convenience and the bragging rights along with it is priceless
