Garmin – Expensive, Unreliable & Zero Accountability
I trusted Garmin. I paid a premium expecting durability and support. What I got was a smartwatch that failed within 1.5 years and a customer service team that outright refused to take responsibility.My Venu SQ 2 started showing battery defects — jumping from 0% to 70% in minutes, then shutting off instantly when unplugged. I followed every troubleshooting step. When I reached out, Garmin acknowledged the issue but told me I’d have to pay ₹14,000 for a replacement. That’s nearly the price of a new device — for a failure that is clearly on them, not me.They escalated to their so-called “international support” only to come back with the same answer: Pay up or walk away.This is not wear and tear. This is a product defect, and Garmin’s response shows they do not back their customers once the sale is made. No goodwill, no accountability, no real support.I will never buy a Garmin product again — and I’d strongly advise anyone reading this to think twice. When something goes wrong (and it very well might), you’ll be left holding a dead device and a hollow apology.

Conheço amigos que o tem e não gostavam porque não era um smart watch e tinham que configurar tudo através dos botões, mas… Eu estou satisfeito.Review:Para militares, bombeiros, policias, atletas, profissões de maior exposição ao dano ou simplesmente alguém que procure um relógio robusto com uma grande variedade de funcionalidades para o dia a dia e que dure muitos dias sem necessidade de recarregar.Comprei a versão base.Dá para usar: GPS + GLONASS; GPS + GALILEO; somente GPS ou o Modo UltraTrac (para maior duração da bateria, mas com menos precisão)~Permite usar numa enorme variedade de atividades, desde corrida, natação, surf, escalada, ciclismo, ciclismo indor, ginásio (consegue detectar grande parte dos exercícios, sem precisar de estar a editar na app), entre muito mais atividades.Avalia a frequência cardíaca e SPO2, Temperatura ambiente, (mede frequência respiratória sem a banda, mas tenho dúvidas, as outras avaliações são fidedignas), Altímetro, Bússola, Barómetro (com aviso de tempestade quando há grandes oscilações da pressão atmosférica), Contador de Passos, Body Battery, Monitorização de Sono, Marés (tem que se ligar de vez em quando à app do telefone), Agenda, Vários horários (ex. UTC e Local) previsão meteorológica, Fases da Lua, Nascer e por do sol e quanto tempo de luz resta. Permite controlar a musica do telemóvel que estiver ligado (só controla, não permite ouvir).Apresenta as notificações do telefone (dá para bloquear notificações de algumas aplicações que não deseje que apareçam no relógio) e notificações de chamadas (permite atender ou desligar, mas a chamada é realizada através do telefone). Permite definir respostas curtas para as mensagens ou chamadas rejeitadas.Dá para configurar a disposição do ecrã;Dá para medir áreas, memorizar percursos, definir e importar percursos através da app, etc…Bateria: Sem usar GPS, dá para uns 25-28 dias (como o relógio diz). Se usar fizer corrida 2-3x semana com GPS dá bem para 15 dias sem carregar. Carrega rápido, já não sei precisar, mas entre 1-2 hrs (se tanto).Tem pelo menos 3 aplicações da Garmin: Connect, Connect IQ, Explore. Na explore conseguem criar, importar e exportar trilhos, etc. na Connect ver e partilhar todo o resumo fisico e na Connect IQ algumas apps para o relógio e skins para o ecra.O único contra foi a bracelete que tem uma espécie de camada de verniz que começou logo a sair com o uso, mas que que pouco interfere a nível estético (não é relógio para o baile de gala, mas também dá! ahahah)Atenção: Este review é da versão base, só a versão grande e a versão com carregamento solar permitem pagamentos com NFC. Só a versão grande tem lanterna. Este “tem” lanterna, mas é só o ecra que fica branco e com luminosidade no máximo (ajuda um pouco se houver escuridão total). Vendido e Enviado pela Amazon.

To mój pierwszy smart zegarek. Spodobał mi się klasyczny wyświetlacz LCD, który zawsze pokazuje godzinę (a nie tylko przy ruchu ręką w stronę twarzy). Dzięki temu zegarek jest też energooszczędny jak na smartwatch.Wielką zaletą zegarka są szerokie możliwości personalizacji. Nie trzeba przeklikiwać nieużywanych funkcji, można je po prostu usunąć z menu.Możliwa jest instalacja dodatków np. dwMap i wyświetlanie mapy podczas nawigacji.Dobrze pokazuje czas snu, nie wiem czy dobrze rozpoznaje fazy.Tętno mierzy bez zarzutu, można je transmitować do innych urządzeń np. do licznika rowerowego.Polecam

If you want a rugged, reliable outdoor/ multisport watch with long battery life and strong tracking, and you can live without fancy color displays or detailed map navigation on the watch. It lacks some of the “smartwatch polish,” but where it excels (battery, durability, accuracy), it does very well.
